Donating a vehicle takes about five minutes of your time. You share the year, make and model, confirm where the vehicle sits, pick a pickup window, and hand over the signed title when the tow driver arrives. Everything after that — transport, title transfer, sale and your donation paperwork — is handled for you at no cost.
Have the year, make, model and approximate mileage ready, plus whether it currently runs and whether you hold the title. None of these answers disqualify you on their own. Vehicles that do not start, have body damage, or have sat unregistered for years are still routinely accepted.
A coordinator calls to confirm the address and a time window. Pickup is free — there is never a towing charge to you, and you do not need to be present as long as the signed title and keys are left with the vehicle.
