Before the Driver Arrives

Gather the signed title, remove personal items, and clear a path to the vehicle. If you can't be present, arrangements can be made in advance — keys and title left in an agreed spot. The driver will call ahead to confirm timing.

The 15-Minute Appointment

The driver verifies the VIN and vehicle details against your donation order, collects the signed title and keys, loads the vehicle, and gives you a receipt. Running or not makes no difference — winching a non-runner onto the truck is routine.

After Your Car Is Picked Up

Cancel insurance, follow your state's plate and release-of-liability process, and keep your pickup receipt. If the vehicle sells for more than $500, you'll receive IRS Form 1098-C documenting the sale price, which sets your deduction. Keep these with your tax records.

Free towing nationwide. Most pickups scheduled in 24 hrs.
