Winter Pickups Are Routine

Tow operators work year-round, and winter donations are common — often triggered by a dead battery or a car that won't start in the cold. Pickup stays free, and conditions rarely cause more than a short rescheduling.

If the Car Is Snowed In

Clear a path to the vehicle if you can, and let dispatch know about ice, steep driveways, or plowed-in streets. If a storm closes roads, pickups are simply moved to the next safe window.

Dead Batteries and Cold Engines

A car that won't start in the cold is treated like any non-runner: winched onto a flatbed at no charge. Don't spend money on a jump or a new battery just to donate — it isn't necessary.
