Tax Deduction for Junk Car Donations

Even junk cars qualify for a tax deduction. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Cars for Veterans provides a tax receipt for every donation. The IRS allows you to deduct the fair market value or the sale price of your vehicle, whichever is greater.
